The S.upreme K.ings of Y.esterday aka The S.K.Y is the newest dope group to hit the bay area!!! These bayareains plus an L.A. Boy are rocking the mic everywhere they go!!!After killing two shows at CSU Channel Islands the three man group will continue wowing fans with their smash hits songs “Much Too Fly”, “S.K.Y. Blow Up”, “Skillz” and “The Freeze”.

Ever wondered if life continues by random fortuity that allows You to decide your l path?.. or if the occurrences fell together as if they were predetermined by ways of divine intervention with complete absence of free will?,… this was clearly not an accident.
They say music has the strangest way of bringing people together with great cohesion. Classy Touch (right), 20, was introduced to Genra (middle), 19, by a mutual friend. Thus after, a bond became assured when the two began exchanging their talents. Genra, who is a artist fond of traditional Hip-Hop, and Classy Touch who is a producer first hand and as well an artist of a more Neo-Soul/Hip-Hop fusion. Though the two had never regarded themselves as a group, they shared the same inseparable link from music.
Cise (left- NIKEHEAD shirt), 21, on the other hand, a free-ranged musician from Hip-Hop to Jazz to Soul to R&B to Rock & Roll, was amidst the struggle of finding his niche as an artist. Many people have quoted the statement to “Just be you” when making music, unaware that a statement so simple is far more complex. Cise was also approaching another avenue of music, Producing, and was also introduced to Classy Touch by a mutual friend as well, which was perfect timing or what some call serendipitous when Classy Touch was already a producer himself. From then on, Cise and Classy Touch began jamming on a regular basis, collaborating on production, many of those productions incorporating samples vintage vinyl recordings or what we like to call “Yesterday”.

In attempts to reach out to this saturated world of conformity where artists emulate other artists, Classy Touch then introduced Genra to Cise. Classy would always talk bout introducing the two and finally did so. The combination of talents brought about a more mature vintage, yet relevant class of music. Cise, who had already developed a name, The S.K.Y., abbreviates The S.upreme K.ings of Y.esterday. The moniker serves as a description of the style of music made with sample based compositions, Yesterday, and the Supreme Kings meaning the best and highly regarded at what we do. For Genra the name took on a far more in depth meaning. Because Yesterday’s music music is so timeless and worth cherishing, what better name could we use to describe our passion for music. Though we may not know what lies ahead of us in the Future, there is one statement we can say with absolute certainty.. Hip-Hop is Still Alive.
